Michaela Nachtigall is a session violinist, arranger, and composer from California, now living in Minnesota. With her last name meaning ‘Nightingale’ in German, she has always felt a particular kinship towards small songbirds.

‘flightbox’ is the start of a new album series where Infloresce Records asks five composers to write a piece of music based on one word. The word for this album was “flight”.

Michaela’s take on “flight” features a lush, light, and adventurous spirit, inspired by the baby birds in her area.
