We’re proud to announce the launch of our EQP-2A Stereo Tube Equalizer, a new two-channel unit based on our popular EQP-A circuit and packaged into the same 3U enclosure – now in the original battleship grey!

We’ve gotten a lot of requests for a stereo unit, dating back to the original release of the EQP-A in 2019. Many engineers prefer the flexibility of having separate controls for each channel, but for those of you who would rather save the rack space with a single unit, now you can!

Circuit-wise, the EQP-2A is electronically identical to our EQP-A, with the same complement of NOS tubes, custom-wound inductors and transformers, and premium components throughout. Like its mono counterpart, we’ve spared no expense in building this unit to be as close to the original as possible, down to the same 1950s and 60s US-made tubes in the audio path. This is a crucial part of capturing the authenticity and smooth, tube-driven box tone of this classic circuit, and it’s why our EQP-A has been so popular over the years!

The first batch of EQP-2As drops this Saturday at 8PM EST, in classic AudioScape fashion. We have a feeling these will go fast, so we recommend being quick ????

Note: the first several batches of this unit will be standard edition only. A mastering edition with stepped rotary controls will be available at a later date.
