***FB Friends and fellow musicians, producers, and freelance jammers: HELP!
I need some insight. I feel I’ve reached a tipping point as a producer in terms of my resources and time available in getting my music out there. I’d really love to get my music out to more listeners, across a wider audience. I want to get on big playlists and music blogs. I’ve tried SubmitHub on my own with little success. I’ve gotten the processes of creation and release down, but I don’t have the time or resources to push it after it’s out there in the ethos. I DON’T want to give my content or control to a label. Should I hire a publisher or marketing manager on a revenue percentage agreement? How does this typically work for indie artists in the industry?
