So after 7 years of

So after 7 years of music production I now have a solid project based on a solid style and I am finally pretty confident and happy with my tracks, I am not only able to finish a whole track within hours but I am very happy with the final products that I create. Also after all these years I am happy with my mixes and I can say that I dominate the theory of mixing my tracks pretty well. Unfortunately I am a remote / nomad worker and I do not have a studio of my own, now I am more settled but I’m currently not able to invest 5-6 figures in a proper acoustic treatment for a room with high end monitors and hardware even though I theoretically know how to use it, which comes down to a current decision to take my project to the next level and finally take off now that I have the attention of some pretty good labels and some pretty good artists are now supporting my music which comes to either:

1. Keep doing my mixes on my standard audio interface (Volt 2) in Ableton with my standard headphones (aiaiai TMA 2 studio) with Ableton’s native tools and Fab Filter EQ with good quality plugin instruments such as Diva and Serum AND pay for a high end engineer in a high end studio to Mix my stems and Master my track Or

2. Invest in an Apollo Twin simulating all that expensive high end hardware with its highly praised “Unison Technology” with reference from high end studio headphones like Sennheiser HD 800S, Focal Clear Mg Pro, Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro, with a small Moog Minitaur for my Low-End and do the mixing and mastering myself since I’m pretty confident in my theory but with the lack of an acoustic treated studio

I have plenty of tracks to be mixed and mastered and also plenty of time but if choice 1 is going to be FAR ahead in sound quality I am willing to make the investment since I have a lot of tracks and plan to have many more in the short term, but if the difference isn’t really going to be that significant (considering that I know what I’m doing with my mixes and masters) then is choice 2 the absolute best choice? This question really goes to the producers and engineers that have had the experience from both cases and are now sitting and working in 5-7 figures studios

(or should I Mix with choice 2 and still pay for choice 1)

If you read the whole thing I highly appreciate it
