I’m running Live 11 on a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 Pro. I’ve recently moved from Live 10 but these issues were there before. With my larger projects (which are quite a lot of them these days) I’m encountering a lot of performance issues. Projects can take up to about 2 minutes to load, and often navigating the UI is clunky and laggy. I occasionally have GUI dropouts where the screen freezes but everything continues to work. It crashes quite often, and latency when recording into big projects is often so bad that it’s unusable which means I either have to turn off monitoring or record in a separate project. Even changing the buffer size doesn’t help and sometimes that causes the audio engine to crash.

I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 as my interface. Now there are a few factors which I think may be causing my issues:

1. I run Live through Rosetta so I can access all of my plugins
2. I have my interface running through a USB hub (USB-C to USB-3 hub to Thunderbolt port on my MacBook)
3. Maybe my laptop is just not powerful enough and I should think about upgrading

Anyone experience similar issues or have any idea how I could fix this? Thanks ????
