Lets do our monthly backup discussion. what are you using to BACKUP YOUR Project files etc? I am using Backblaze but I still feel nervous even though its backed up everything. I’d like a second option thats safe. I am using Veeam Backup but I still don’t trust it.

Hi guys !
I’ve been struggling lately with audio files loading in some large sessions!
I’ve a pretty decent PC running Ableton 11 Suite
Intel i7, 16gb of RAM, SSD + HDD (Win10 Pro)
I’ve set all those tricks that i could find on internet for faster loading
no performance issues here, but reading the audio files still a pain in the back
Ableton is installed on the SSD indeed
Sessions are loaded from the same SSD
Audio files are in the same SSD
Even when collecting all those files and save into the session i still have this issue
It takes up to 10min to load all audios in a session with up to 40 tracks, i can even see audios loading with empty audio clip and wave form starting showing up slowly ???
Surprisingly, i didn’t have this issue when i had HDD back in the days…
Anyone has similar situation ?

Any tricks on how to pull your head out of your arse and start making tunes instead of looping and chipping away on serato pissed on a train.
