been doing work shadowing for the last 3 weeks and it’s legitimately been the happiest / most fulfilled i’ve ever been… i don’t wanna go back to school, let me freelance forever ????
i’ll tag everyone in this post who managed to make the last 3 weeks as amazing as it’s been ????
1 & 2: did one day at city vocal coach (& had the world’s greatest tea) and got to meet some incredible people, including dave clark who did a great set on the 10th in shepherd’s bush
3: brought in one of my favourite albums of all time (‘how do you see yourself’ by wolf moon) to one of the four days i was at kit records – legitimately grieved the end of that placement by the way
4 & 5: met the guys down at lion vibes and had a blast talking about all kinds of music – i’m really good at stock checks by the way if anyone’s looking to hire :p
6: been attempting to finish a song i’ll put up at the end of the month when british summer time comes back (ITS NOT DARK ANYMORE WOOO)
7: had to go and get my sax repaired which meant trekking all the way from one end of the victoria line to the other… pro tip: don’t walk all the way up crouch end hill and down the other side again. just get the bus from finsbury park station and then your feet won’t suffer
8, 9 & 10: been working with two incredible bands, all day breakfast cafe & queen colobus, both of their gigs were super fun (although i may be a little biased given QC is probably my favourite band of all time and these guys are my heroes… STILL.)
11 & 12: multi-story songwriting & a media day we had, loads of fun working with these guys, love em to bits (thank you le’maia & sarah for that last clip ????)
